The Elephant Man of China.

The “Elephant Man,” a Chinese man, 31 years old, is set to have surgery to have the 33 pound tumor on his face removed. The surgery does have some serious risk, as the man has some major blood vessels running through the tumor, and faces the possibility of bleeding to death. The man has had the tumor since birth. Despite the risk, the man is ready to proceed with the procedure because the tumor has deformed his backbone, stunted his growth, and has grown too big to carry around any longer (anything smaller than 30 pounds is fine though?).
