    Only in America do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

    Bottled Water, the next big killer?

    Most Americans make regular purchases of bottled water, making it a $9.2 billion dollar market annually. The FDA has some broad regulations for bottled water, and has established an allowable level of contaminants, including chemical, physical, microbial and radiological. Bottled water is also one of the few foods that the FDA has very little regulation for standard of quality.

    Dr. Jack Kevorkian, now 79, was released from prison today, June 1, 2007, after an eight year sentence. This poor senior citizen, because of his compassion for people, and his willingness to help the suffering was locked up. It is unfortunate that our legal system finds it necessary to punish such a display of sympathy. An admirable man, no doubt, most people will live their whole life and never have displayed such kindheartedness towards another human being, with no regard for the punishment on himself.     Miss USA falls during evening gown portion of Miss Universe

    Mexico City, Mexico - Miss USA, Rachel Smith fell flat on her ass during the evening gown portion of the Miss Universe pageant but quickly recovered and went on to become a top five finalist. Throughout the rest of the competition Miss USA was booed vehemontly by the audience.
