Two teenage lesbians were kicked off a public TriMet bus in Oregon for….KISSING! Oh no! Appearantly other passengers complained to the driver who gave the lesbians a swift kick in the ass off the bus. TriMet claims the 64-year old idiot Bus driver will be disciplined, but didn't specify how.
This is a real shocker, how could a bus-driver just kick two 14 year old girls off a bus? They weren't harming anyone and were giving all the guys on the bus a free show! The bus driver also called them "Sickos". Of course there are rumors about a lawsuit brewing from one of the girls mothers. At least when the girls turn 16 they will have plenty of money to buy themselves a car (maybe a pink polka-dot flower power Volkswagon Beetle).
If this were a school bus, the whole bus would have probably deboarded in protest!

What is worse is that now the Trimet Bus Operators are circulating the girls’ pictures in preparation for refusing to let them ride the bus again if the driver is fired.
Mr. Allen Margulies ( A Margulies 2284 NW Everett St, Apt 502 Portland, OR 97210-5551 (503) 525-0150 ) irresponsibly decided to post photos on the Trimet Operators Group (yahoo groups) and the rest of their union members on the sight starting planning on “banning” the girls from the bus.
This is scary. It is essentially a union telling a company that they will NOT follow federal laws.

I feel that if they are bisexual or lesbian they should be allowed to do what ever they enjoy doing within reason with each other. Most people may not agree and I just feel they are being happy with each other.

First of all these two lesbians were “kissing” on a school bus. This I presume was during school hours and in my opinion, totally inappropriate.
Who cares what they do on their own time but I don’t want to have to sit and look at anyone making out on the school bus, gay or straight.
I have found that many gay and lesbians are exhibitionists and love to get reactions from people and that’s really lame but it’s a fact. Sounds like what these two girls were doing. Shame on you girls, take that stuff home or rent a room.
Maybe what the school (or bus drivers or whomever) should have done, was kick them off the bus for making out, not the the fact that they are lesbian. Makes more sense to me.

First of all you are stereotyping Gay and Lesbians!!! I am a Lesbian and My wife and I have 7 children together. We are just like any other “normal” hetrosexual couple. We don’t go around flaunting our affections in public. We hold hands just like any man or woman couple would do, we give each other a kiss or hug just like any other Straight couple would do! Just because Gay and Lesbian people show their love and affections to their partners/wives/husbands, does NOT mean we are all exhibitionists or are trying to get peoples reactions! You are obviously prejeduce and judgemental for you to make such a statement like that!!!!
We raise our children just like any straight family with love Faith in God, have bible study with them etc. In fact I was a praise and worship leader a few years ago. So don’t assume all Gay and Lesbians are sick perverts or exhibitionists!!!!!!!!!!
When will this country realize that we are people too and should be allowed to love who we want. What are you all expecting us to do? Be alone and unloved and miserable, you can’t make us love a certain sex just to make everyone feel comfortable!

Actually it was a public transit system, not a public school event.

Great for the bus driver. Absolutely cant believe the parents! They need to be locked up and taught how to raise children, along with the parents of all those pregnant 14 year olds. No wonder the world is in such a state when people have such lack of moral sense.

@Pure: I’m not sure exactly what you think the parents should be ashamed of, but it wasn’t like the girls were having sex on the bus. I greatly dislike public display of affection of any sort, but making out is hardly against the law, even if it is two girls. Their parents are doing the right thing in my opinion by supporting their daughters.
Besides, what one person would call “moral sense” is different from what another person would describe as such. While there may be commonalities in said morals, it’s not right to force one’s beliefs on another.

These two perverts should walk from now on or at least do pornos.

This was four years ago! That’s like 28 years in lesbian. I wonder if they’re still together…lol.
Seriously, did anyone else consider this as the expected norm for the situation? Two girls who like each other. Close-minded individual who’s paying too much attention and probably upset that they can’t join. Bus driver who’s pulled far too many hours for far too little pay, probably feeling the beginning effects of daily burnout. Put them together. What else would you expect?
In a perfect world, the person who said something (as far as I’ve noticed, that person is anonymous by ALL accounts) would have been given a choice – don’t look or don’t ride. After the thrashing the driver would have taken from certain groups and the possible loss of his job, he would have been given a better one with better pay by the Equal Opportunity Betterment Organization (Yep, I just made that up). The driver would have realized that he had a lot in common with the families of the girls and they accept him into their groups of kind souls as the world uses the scenario as a focal point for human growth and tolerance.
Yet again, that’s in a perfect world.
This is NOT a perfect world, and the situation unfolded as it did. Don’t like it? Change it. Don’t want to change it? Learn to like it. Sucky choice, but that’s really all you get.
