If you are planning on staying in a Chineese hotel in the near future, there might be some extra toiletries on your sink. The Chineese commerce and health ministries has issued a new regulation requiring condoms to be provided at all hotels, holiday resorts, and public showers. In addition to the condoms, they must also provide pamphlets about AIDS prevention to be displayed.
This is a big step for China who once critized AIDS as a "Disease of the Decadent" - a problem of gays, sex workers and drug users. - China thinks they are above all that appearantly, or did! Now they have a growing AIDS problem that is moving into the general population. Oops……
